The third day of wheeling takes us to the deep south, just off route 72 in northern Alabama. With over 120 rock crawling trails, Hawk Pride Off-Road Park is one of the south’s wheeling gems. With a full range of trails rated from “mild to wild” this park is sure to satisfy our thirst for adventure and challenge. As the park is only open on the weekends, it will be a quiet day in the park with only the eight of us breaking up the silence. Although the park has tons of rocks for us to crawl through there is also a huge opportunity for some red clay painted jeeps. With its proximity to the Tennessee river the park has several meandering streams that cause some very slick conditions that were sure to have a blast in. The 1,000 acre stretch of off road heaven is also home to a massive mud bog for any of us that may be feeling froggy on this day of the trip. Overall this is a very well maintained and marked park and should make for an easy day of navigation and killer day of southern wheeling.
The ARCS hill climb for February 18th has been cancelled by the organizers of the event. However, the park will be open all weekend for riding.
Hawk Pride is the number 2 rated offroad park in Alabama! Thank you so much for everyone that voted and helped us achieve this honor! We are blessed to have a beautiful location, a hard working and dedicated staff and most importantly the Best Clientele!!
